Team Troubleshooting Checklist
Robot Checklist
Is the robot powered up and fully booted?
Verify RoboRIO has power via the power light
Is the robot radio not connecting after power-up?
Are you using the latest firmware? It should be v1.3.8 (or higher).
Is the radio configured properly for the event?
If problems persist, try loading the latest recommended firmware and reconfigure.
Is the robot still not being seen by the Driver Station or FMS?
Verify the Ethernet connection of the RoboRIO via the activity lights
Make sure the ethernet cable is plugged in between the RoboRIO and the radio.
Test the ethernet cable (this can be done at the troubleshooting station).
Try swapping the ethernet cable with a different one.
Try rebooting the robot (RoboRIO)
Verify the RoboRIO is running the latest firmware
Driver Station Checklist
Is the field ethernet cable plugged into the Driver Station?
Is the wired Ethernet LAN adapter on the Driver Station configured to use DHCP?
Is Wi-Fi disabled on the Driver Station?
Is the Windows firewall disabled on the Driver Station?
Have you tried unplugging and plugging the ethernet cable on the Driver Station?
Have you tried restarting the Driver Station software?
Is the wired Ethernet LAN adapter enabled on the Driver Station?
Is the Driver Station software the current recommended version (25.0 or higher)?
Is the Driver Station configured with the correct team number?
Does tethering to the robot directly work? If so, try a different ethernet cable or radio.
Ethernet Camera Checklist
Unable to connect to your IP camera?
Have you configured your camera properly and with a 10.TE.AM.nn address?
Make sure the ethernet cable is plugged into your radio.
Make sure the blue LED on the radio’s ethernet port that is being used for the camera is ON.
Try swapping the ethernet cable with a different one.
